Nip + Fab has had a lot of press recently since they appointed the youngest Kardashian sister, Kylie as their brand ambassador.
All the Nip + Fab products are designed to target very specific problem areas on both the face and body, and the products are way more affordable than most luxury brands that profess to do the same things.
I tried out the Hyaluronic Fix Body Gel to see whether it lived up to its reputation.
This body gel smells absolutely delicious but is not too overpowering, it’s somewhere between a vanilla candle and an expensive bar of floral soap.
Each of the Nip + Fab products are supposed to target a specific area or concern and this gel is all about making skin look plump and soft. This is one of those products which will work differently for each person’s skin but my skin felt super soft after using this, and while you don’t see immediate plump skin, over time it did feel more supple.
You can buy Nip + Fab products online and at Boots stores in the UK. The 200ml bottle I tried out is £7.99, I also tried out the Glycolic Fix Body Cream (£7.99/200ml), Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Serum (£19.95/50ml) and the De-Stress Blend Body Wash (£8.99/500ml).
The main power ingredient in this gel is hyaluronic acid which provides long lasting hydration, vitamin e which moisturises and softens and aloe vera which soothes and calms the skin. Although it does also contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which has been shown to irritate skin on the face, if used over a long period of time.
The R Factor
I really like the feel of this product – it tingles when you apply it so you think it’s working even if it’s just a sensation. I’d definitely recommend it to someone looking for an moisturiser that goes the extra mile, and I’ll be using it over the Summer.
But don’t just take my word for it, here are some other Nip + Fab reviews:
