If you’ve never been to Lush then you’ve definitely smelt it. The handmade cosmetics emporium is well known for its super smelly shops, fizzing bath bombs and solid shampoo bars, and now they’ve opened their new biggest store on Oxford Street.
I went along to the opening to see all three floors of glittery goodness…
The new shop is HUGE (9500 square ft.) and each product range has been extensively added to with more than 200 new items for the launch.
A Lush Spa with four treatment rooms can be found down in the basement where you can try new products before you buy in the Hair Lab, and learn more about the industry from experts with an array of regular talks and workshops.
“Opening this stunning store in central London is the icing on Lush’s 20th birthday cake,” says Lush’s co-founder and Managing Director, Mark Constantine OBE.
“Sometimes folk forget how different Lush is from other cosmetic companies. We invent what we make in a very un-inventive industry; we make fresh products with no or limited preservatives in an industry geared up to keep products for years and years before they are sold.”
