Impartial Review: Melvita Nectar Supreme – The Cream

Ever wanted to know the secret behind a Queen Bee’s longevity? (I mean a real bee, by the way, not Beyoncé), well Melvita have plucked it, transported it and whipped it into a gorgeous little cream.

Melvita’s Nectar Supreme is a tiny pink pot of organic goodness which smoothes, illuminates and hydrates the skin.

Smell

There’s nothing worse than using a product that smells like a whole bunch of chemicals, luckily this teeny pink pot smells completely natural, fresh and distinctly floral. I love that the fragrance isn’t too overpowering but stays all day.

Effectiveness

The product was formulated to improve skin texture, radiance and firmness. I definitely felt a difference after using this cream in terms of moisture, it’s a nice thick cream which hydrates the skin. I’m not 100% convinced about the firming effect as yet.

Convenience

Nectar Supreme is priced at £48/50ml and doesn’t launch until September, with an exclusive at John Lewis in August.

Ingredients

This is where this product really shines; it contains three organic honeys, royal jelly and beeswax. Kniphofia flowers are hand crushed in southern France and Melvita add daisy and plankton extract along with evening primrose oil. 99% of the ingredients are from natural origin and 28% are from organic farming.

The R Factor

Would I recommend this product? If you’re someone who wants to try out the highest quality Melvita product (and don’t mind paying for it) then yes I would, it smells divine and definitely hydrates the skin.
