How I got my Miami glow

I have a confession to make, you know that cute Miami glow I was bragging about on Facebook? It came from a bottle.

To be specific it came from a bottle of Palmers Natural Bronze Body Lotion, one of my new favourite products. As I was doing some pre-holiday shopping I popped into Superdrug to get some travel-sized toiletries.

As usual I found myself wandering over to the skincare aisle to see what was new, and there it was, the promise of bronzed-looking skin without any sun damage, how could I resist?

Smell

Imagine the normal smell of cocoa butter but with a bit of sun cream and a little bit of nail varnish remover and you have pinpointed the smell of this lotion.

Effectiveness

This product was a great base to work on while tanning in Miami and definitely added a natural looking glow to my skin without being orange or smelling like biscuits (frequent self-tanners know the struggle.)

Ingredients

There are quite a few different types of alcohol in this product and it is quite drying so on holiday I applied sun cream on top.

Convenience

This product is super easy to use but there is one word of warning: you need to *thoroughly*  wash your hands and wrists after applying it and do not put any clothes on for like 5 minutes after you’ve applied it. Trust me on this one.

A 200ml bottle costs £5.59 from Superdrug both online and in store, and it’s slightly cheaper at Paks especially if you buy online.

The ‘R’ Factor

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lotion to apply either on holiday or to get ready for Summer.
